The skins of the cows are cut in two pieces since 2 small piece is easier to process than one large big piece. The skins are put into a cement mixture for hair removal that also includes sodium sulphydrate and lime with water. Then first tanning process inside big wooden drums that prevents getting tangled is started. The salt in the mixture in the drums turns the color of the skins to light blue and converts them to leather. The leather is split into layers and thickness of the layers is checked. Second tanning is done in a mixture of vegetable extract and water solution that will bind the leather for a leather tone. Starch and water mixture is pasted on the leathers are they are left drying on the glass surfaces for 4 hours. Revolving coloring system gives color and then theleather is waxed and last of all the wrinkles, if any, are eliminated.
